We have a 2 year old girl and we're expecting baby #2. :) I'm a NICU nurse working full-time nights.

How long did you wait to go running after you had kids?  I don't want to ask my doctor because I'm pretty sure she'll say 6 weeks but I don't think I need THAT much time. =0)

Haha, thanks Allie! :) Hope you're doing well. Oh, I have a quick question. Are some people doing your 5K just by themselves, not as a relay? I think I just may be ready by then... Let's hope anyway. It may be slow, but gosh dangit I'm gonna run it!

since you posted today's already I don't really need to comment...but for me it was 2 weeks, but slow and easy...pushing a baby stroller. I couldn't be that far away from him yet :)

Thanks RAD! That's awesome you could take him that soon! My running stroller must be old because the straps are way too high for her, I think she would probably fall out! And you don't feel like the jostling was too much for him that young?
