Needed to get outside for fresh air and exercise, did 3.6 miles of walking (with about 1.5 miles of running).  Ligaments hurt later in the night, so I'll for sure just be taking it easy for a few days.  Guess I had to be sure it really was hurt...haha. :)  Not being able to run right now is coming as somewhat of a relief, unlike the deep depression during injuries in the past!  I need more energy to get some things done on my days off work, so it's working out well.

Take the time you need and when you feel like you are ready to jump back in you'll have your band and it won't be so bad.

Don't worry about jumping back in either. Just like you need energy now, you'll need it then and not having to feel like you need to jump right back in will be a relief. You'll be able to run for pleasure again and you'll love it!! Then the weight will fall off naturally and the speed will come back.

Thanks for the encouragement Rachel! I wore my band today for the first time and it really helped. :) I got the one you recommended to Carina (I think it was you that recommended it).
